New Harris poll shows Joe lead has gone from 10 points to 4 points. 43%-39%. Previous poll in early June showed 47-37. Woohoo.

I dont believe any of them, jesus we are 5 months out, the polls are meaningless, and we will all go fricking crazy if there are 50 poll threads every fuvking day until then

Oh just imagine the mania come September and October. I worry for some of our folks here. Genie's out of the bottle for any rabble rousing leftist who wants to drop in and create a snowball effect of piling on Trump....by his own supporters. And I keenly note a frequent lack of ready ability to even be able to explain oneself in that regard.

It must have been all the PT concern trolling making the difference!

It's beyond concern threads now. Goes straight into "Trump's finished, it's over, was a good run" threads.

The soft arse Trump supporters who have gone into full "Trump doesn't care about reelection.....He's losing on purpose!!!!!" can hopefully just shut the frick up and take a deep breath

For children that can't handle their president critiqued or challenged, I imagine they read like that.

Definitely no point in looking at daily polls, particularly individual ones
Every couple of weeks just look at an aggregate poll and that will tell you a lot more
Anything else is just cherry picking

Polls are nothing more than a way the media can create stories, Rush has been talking about this for 25 years.

per Rush today, Wapo 6/26/16 - the bitch up by 12
sound familiar
but now isn't like 2016!
No it isn't, what is the probability of being physically assaulted/losing your job, etc., for supporting Trump in 2016 vs. now?
I had the thought that Trump should have asked his supporters to lie to the pollsters to render them totally useless. He did not do that but they may have done that.
edit to add:
A 6% swing is 3% flipping.
3% of the 120 million voting in 2016 is 3.6 million. I do not believe that many people changed this week even if it is going in my direction.
The polls are throwing darts.

Yeah, I get that. Because I'm the most gripinest, most critical, fussiest bastard I know. And anyone's and everyone's game. Well I say that, I do have quite the soft spot for my kids. But the person I criticize the most is actually myself. So that being the case, I certainly have no issue with criticizing Donald Trump. But one thing that really, really gets in my craw is unforced complications when things are already complicated enough, and sprinkling hysterics on top of that. Yeah, adding to the already illegitimate hysteria of the left and MSM just doesn't seem too smart to me.

Davy, Trump presided over the country's first intentional/deliberate (not to mention protracted) lockdown, and for no rational reason. We've survived world wars, a Civil War, terrorist attacks, deadly viruses, we even survived Jimmy F'n Carter, and never pushed the economy over the cliff in response.
That's not hysteria. That's a fact. The hysteria was the irrational reasoning behind the lockdown.
Trump is my president. I will vote for him in November, and that's not a close call. But he completely shite the bed from March to now, and I think the best way to get a wrongheaded Lockdown #2 is to pretend he didn't.
And to be clear, that POV is not consistent with (or amplifying) the Left or its MSM. The MSM does not want to hear from people like me, and the biggest complication (for a guy not wanting more complexity) is that it should be Trump out front leading this charge.

I was waiting around for someone like him to come along 10 years before he did. He says exactly what about millions upon millions of us think.
WHo do you represent?

Reagan was down to both Carter and Mondale at this point.
Relax.
*I do wish Trump had Reagan's oratory powers.
