that we're not going to be allowed to attend football games this fall, if they even allow them to play.

Restaurants/Bars closing in Texas and Florida, the ridiculous restrictions on Louisiana K-12 schools? High schools around the south already shutting down summer workouts, the NFL canceling the NFL Hall of Fame Game, different set of rules from every crackpot local governor and mayor?

If there is football, they sure as hell won't be allowing fans in.

I hope I'm wrong.

Everyone must wear an unremovable mask and no concessions nor restrooms and we will play.

The season isn't going to happen. The NCAA won't accept the liability. This is obvious, it's just a matter of time.

Yeah I don't think any contact sports will go on. Baseball maybe, auto racing sure, but there's no way that basketball, hockey, or football goes on.

If we are able to have football, I don’t see any reason why a small number of fans could not attend provided it is not a domed stadium. Due to the nature of the game and the large number of participants which could more easily lead to team quarantines, I think having football at all is the bigger question mark.

How many schools will go in the hole if sports aren't allowed this year?

90% of the schools need the money from the athletic budget to stay afloat. Get ready for a school bailout

Perhaps this a long overdue cleansing/reset of "higher education"

I'd have no problem with that... wonder if the schools would though

We are talking about billions of dollars in revenue just in football alone, I'm curious how it will play out.

I hope you are wrong as well. But I don’t believe you are unfortunately. I think all of these restrictions are ridiculous and go against our rights spelled out in the constitution. Having said that, the dominoes are obviously starting to fall again and everything is headed back to tougher restrictions and another round of even more intense “lockdowns.” This thing isn’t going away anytime soon and this is in fact the new normal for the foreseeable future. I think 2022 at the earliest for things to be back to “normal”
