Would the aluminum bats not dent up the wiffle balls too much?

surprising enough, not that bad. Now, if guys were throwing BP, and hitting the shite out of the balls, you would see them wear quick, usually in the air seams. Normal games with a lot of k's, not a lot hard contact, and it could go several games.

Here is a little tidbit about him and the park:

quote:

Lakeside Park Major League Wiffleball Complex, constructed behind his father's business, took eight years to build. It features seating for 250 people, a VIP skybox, a Stadium Club made out of a trailer, manual scoreboard, lighting, and a public address system. The field measures 95 feet down the lines, 105 feet in the power alleys and 122 feet in center field.

Since one cannot hit a Wiffle Ball for distance into the wind, the field itself is reversible, with home plate and second base being interchangeable depending on the wind. From one direction, the batter faces a facsimile of Busch Stadium. From the other direction, the batter faces a replica of Fenway Park, complete with a high wall to simulate the Green Monster and the Citgo sign in the background.

Story from article, was 1993. Makes sense, feels like it was 92 or 93 when i bought the bat

That makes sense

I was never consistent enough of a pitcher with those things

We would normally just go with the racquet balls and aluminum bats which normally just turned into home run derby onto the neighbors roofs
