doubt that if so the fans will turn it off early next week when Pocono is a fuel savings race and the leader wins by 10+ seconds coasting across the line.

I was going to watch the race, but I got tired of being preached at, so I turned it off.

That family fricked it up, its been dead for over a half decade. Local racing seems to be doing great up here even during the rona, stupid governor was desperate to close it down.

Lots of the shops shutdown years ago, and most of the rest have downsized... to the bone.

Almirola sliding over the line in third really makes that pic.

I root against him because his sponsor is a Chinese owned company ... but that was a pretty cool finish

NASCAR got some new fans today.

They won't have trouble getting tickets; I guess that's the good news.

Bristol, 2019. Pre covid, pre this latest SJW silliness.

That has to be a Busch race or a rain delayed Cup race. Attendance is way down but I can't believe that much.

*Remembers when the Bristol night race was the hardest ticket in Nascar.

Not according to Forbes.

quote:

But all but a couple of the roughly 35 sections of the enormous Darrell Waltrip Grandstand at the one end of the half-mile track were closed for the ensuing Cup race, with no tickets available. The stands at the other end of the track were also closed for the race.

I’d rather watch Lightning McQueen in Cars1 and Cars 2. Cars 3 sucked so bad it made me not want to watch the 1st two.
