Rates are all about timing but typically USAA, Navy Federal, or PenFed are the lowest.
Luckily we have access to all 3

$1274 for a BMW 650 convertible on a 3 year lease.

$565/mo for 72 months on a Challenger RT brand new when I was about 25. Dumbest decision I've ever made financially, I was so upside-down on that thing for like 3 years.
I'll never finance a new car again and probably never a used one either, after I made friends with some guys that own an auction lot. That really is the way to go, even if you get $200-500 cars you just drive for a couple years at a time. You can get some really good, low mileage late model cars at auction for under $1000 if you're willing to get simple body work done (like a new bumper cover, or fender replaced and painted).
I would suggest it to anybody.

A car can be an investment, if you're very patient, when acquiring it.
My current vehicle, I paid cash. Ten months from now, I'll be able to sell it for what I paid.
I'm enamored with it, so, time will tell.

A better measurement would be car note/income. These random numbers are dumb.

Ive only had like 3 vehicles. The only note I had was $300. Not an OT baller either.
Next vehicle will probably be more though. We want a camper and I need something to pull it.

I got my car 15 months ago, and if I sold it now, based on comps, I could get anywhere from $3k-6k or so more than what I paid for it, before taxes.

I only buy used Toyotas and I buy with cash. Outside of credit card debt, car notes are the biggest reason why the average American lacks enough wealth to retire.

My FJ Cruiser was 460 a month. Paid off now. It’s ten years old and I’d love a new 4Runner but no car payment is nice.
The 4Runner would be 500 even if I put 10k down.
frick that.

$825 for 72 mos forl my wife’s new Sequoia. Will never do that again. I was able to pay it off early though. For what it’s worth I’m driving her old Sequoia that has 250 K miles on it looks like crap but still running great. And yes it’s paid for.
