Toyota slowed everything down. Saw a friend of mine at the dealership in T-Town. New, they had 2 Tundras, 4 4-Runners and 2-3 Camrys. New car side was deserted.

We got a 450 in February. Overall, happy with it. The tech can be a bit cumbersome to use, but hasn't been a problem.

Call the Houston dealerships if you end up leaning this way. We got a significant discount off of MSRP and that was pre-COVID. MB Clearlake and MB Sugarland will discount on anything they have in stock. MB Greenway won't play as much - they'll match but won't lead with offers.

Also, check if you qualify for the Fleet incentives (United MileagePlus Premier, for example, qualifies). You will get an extra $500 off the best price you can negotiate. Don't tell them you qualify for that until you've got the best price. It's a manufacturer rebate so costs them nothing (but they'll try to claim it does cost them).

When you’re paying that much for a vehicle that is definitely a problem

That being said it seems pretty straight forward to me

I’m probably just turning into an old man. My dad has a new X5 and I found the tech on that cumbersome too.

I looked at all of these, and the Ford Expedition Platinum/King Ranch was better and the financing was 0% for 7 years.

The new 2021 Escalades and Yukon Denalis are very nice and a significant upgrade on the 2020s both in interior space and quality/tech. However they don’t hit lots until the end of the year and the 2020 interiors are not good compared to the X7/GLS.

Agreed... BMW has had major issues with their AC systems across the board. I’ve had both the Benz and BMW. I’d lean Benz.

BMW's are designed for the German environment. No remote start is a bummer too.

I got about $5500 off of MSRP plus $500 of fleet discount. Think that's a little below invoice. Deals got better during March/April due to COVID, but I don't know how things are today. The Sugarland dealership is not part of a large corporate group, so they tend to be pretty aggressive with on-lot inventory.
