It's a no-win situation for a business, for sure. My company is 25% black, 25% latino, and 50% white. We hire women. We hire PoC. We hire gay people. We hire old people. We hire felons. We hire whomever. If you can do the job, I will hire you and I will treat you the same as I treat anyone else.
Just had an incident yesterday at my work involving this and I'm a little pissed. I had an employee put a BLM and Pride sticker on one of our company vehicles. For the record, I'm politically moderate and my needle is a little left of vertical. I'm all about Pride and understand what the core BLM movement is about. That said, as a business owner I will not allow any of that stuff on my company vehicles.
I had to sit the employee down and explain that I removed the stickers because our company is apolitical. We have a job to do and that job doesn't require any political statements. Like it or not, the stickers carry a charged message and I don't think a company has any business getting involved in those things. Well this employee did not take my explanation calmly. He loudly took offense and got all bent out of shape and accused the company of not supporting him. He's still bent out of shape this morning. We'll see where this goes. Probably nowhere good.

Put a written policy in place about banning the use of personal or outside company marketing materials on company property/uniforms.

Sounds like a useless emotional woman.

That's unfortunate since I believe most of the business owners in this country feel the same way you do. The radical left and the radical right (who are a lot less vocal) are inconsolable and the MSM doesn't make it any easier.

Do you own this company? If so fire this ahole.
Who in their right mind doesn't understand that company property isn't their property.
