When Pro & College Sports Return,What Will U Do If They Inundate U w/ Left-Wing Politics?

I hope I'm wrong, but I think that corporate media is going to hit us over the head with typical left-wing political views 24/7 once sports returns. ESPN already lost tons of customers for getting too political with regards to infusing left-wing political talking points into what is supposed to be purely a sports format. They cut back for awhile (finally cut ties with Jemele Hill), but I have a feeling that Disney/ABC/ESPN and others are using current events as an excuse for espousing their Left & Far Left political agenda (I quit watching sports talk shows because of too much political talk)?
Personally, I'm already done with professional sports. I still intend, as of now, to watch college football. But I'll dump college football, too, if they hit me over the head with their political crap during cfb games. And remember, September and October will be leading up to a Presidential election. I'll be shocked if these networks don't use sports programming in order to do anything possible to wratchet up division in an attempt to hurt President Trump.
So, what are you going to do if networks use professional and college sports as an excuse for shoving left-wing political talking points down your throat?

Don't spend another dime on sportsball

I am of the same mindset as you, I'm done with pro sports. I barely watched any the last 2 years. It's going to be hard to let go of college football since that's always been my favorite, but I certainly will if they continue down the road they are on.

I have no interest in politics in my sports. I have no problems not watching.

Does something about the subject make you uncomfortable?

I have no doubt we will see kneeling and maybe other shite. If my beloved Dawgs do that, then my days are done. And I graduated from there.

I've been off the pro sports train for a few years already. I'll watch college football if the players actually play, but if they don't out of some kind of protest I'd support them losing their scholarships. Time for these kids to learn how the real world works.

I haven't missed watching sports since corona started, and I haven't missed the NFL or NBA the last few years.

Turn it off, just like I did Nascar.

ESPN cancelled. If the NFL and college football beg forgiveness to patriots and put on a special tribute to the flag, then I will watch. So effectively then, no football for me this year.

I truly think we are at an Inflection point. Pro and College sports will pay a Heavy price. The difference IMO is there will be counter protest. Let’s see how they react then.

This is a component of this dynamic which really intrigues me. A lot of people always watched sports religiously, as if it was programmed into their DNA.
Now that CV-19 has shown them that they can actually survive without sports, will it make any decision to stop watching altogether much easier?

Fresh take, though.

I'm actively rooting for a record year in career ending injuries in all sports.....except PBR.
