I use ZFS and didn't realize there was 'master' terminology within it, anyway.
Stupid, but oh well
It sounds like the ZFS change to 'dependent' or 'dependency' is more accurate and descriptive for its use, but in other cases I can see master/minion being more appropriate than master/slave.
