quote:

Amik Robertson being a great example,

Amik gained traction late, was kind of a back burner recruit for bigger schools.

Hargove is a long way from signing day, hasn't played a Sr season yet, and is already gaining major traction with P5 schools.

Tech was on him early and i think he felt the love. Covid kept him off the radar but when he popped, he popped. I respect Tech immensely but this just isnt going to stick.

This is a quote from him the other day. It reads that Tech is a consolation prize.

quote:

“I’m looking for (a few) SEC offers,” Hargrove said. “But if that doesn’t work out, I’d be (happy) staying with Louisiana Tech. … Really, my eyes are just open right now.”

I understand what you are saying. I understand that people like shiny things and the SEC is definitely a shiny thing. You see I am not speaking from what I have read in some papers on a sports forum or what I heard from second hand barbershop talk. You should truly read what I have written. I am not speaking from an opinionated point of view.

There are two SEC schools he would consider, one big 12 school and one ACC school. One of the SEC schools continues to tell him that he needs to visit the campus and then they will "consider" offering him and to me that says, "We have other signees ahead of you and maybe we will consider you if one doesn't commit".

He will make the right choice for him on a student-athlete basis and this is a guarantee. Bull and his mom are extremely close also, so add that to the mix.
