Christine Michael outshined TR in the camp. I wonder why there is no mention of him in the article.

According to Rivals, yes they were and CM was head and shoulders above every RB there. Could be a Mike S mistake, .

Oh, i see, One in Orlando, one in Gainesville. It was that the same couple of recruiting guys were at both camps and said how CM was much better than everyone else (that he saw in the weekend but not the same camp obviously).

you may be right but from reading the updates it really sounded like they were at the same camp and Michael just outshined Richardson, at least that is just the impression I got

Gainesville and Orlando are only what, like an hour apart, so Richardson could have done both

Yeah, I wouldn't have even noticed it had it not been mentioned. He made it pretty confusing.

no, they werent. barry every and chad carson were at friday night lights where richardson was. jeremy crabtree and jamie newberg were at the top gun showcase where michael was.

newberg was actually at both. heres a direct quote from him:

"I thought Trent Richardson was one of the most impressive looking running backs I have ever seen after watching him at Friday Night Lights in Gainesville, and Michael is right there with him."

anything else?

so let me get this straight. from that quote, you got that

1. they were at the same camp, despite the fact that the names of the 2 different camps are in the quote,

and

2. michael was head and shoulders above richardson because one analyst said "but michael" and another analyst said they were equally impressive.

interesting.

There was a long article before that which insinuated both were at the same camp (like the previous poster said). I only glimpsed over the quote I used previously and that is where I went back and checked to see that they were indeed at two different camps.
quote:

michael was head and shoulders above richardson because one analyst said "but michael" and another analyst said they were equally impressive.
Yes, he meant TR is a great back but CM is a man among boys. That is how everyone would comprehend it. I didnt see the update you had so I was obviously basing my opinion on the analyst I originally read. See, not too hard to understand.

again, the very quote you are basing this entire thing on mentions the names of the 2 different camps.

and where? the only recent long article on christine michael on the rivals network is the one about him being nervous about flying. it doesnt mention richardson at all.

quote:

Yes, he meant TR is a great back but CM is a man among boys.

again, where is this quote even coming from? i cant find it in any of the top gun articles or in any of the national board threads about top gun. and again, how exactly do you infer that michael is head and shoulders above richardson from the 2 simple words "but michael"?

Lorenzo White, former NFL RB, who was at the Top Gun camp said that Micheals was the star of the RBs at the camp. He is quoted as saying about Micheals easily the..."most impressive" to him..

Thus the articles this week about Micheals stock rising big time.

I have no idea if Trent was at the same camp or not? all we know is, Micheals was the stud amongst the other studs at this camp..

If I had to guess now... I would say he ends up at Florida. Since everyone likes arbitrary numbers, I'd say Florida (45%), Bama (35%), LSU (15%), other (5%).
