Grew up in Ponchatoula. Got stationed at Offutt AFB, just south of Omaha, in 1994. Lived here in Omaha ever since. What questions ya got? I love it here. If you can get past the winters, Omaha is a great place to live. Lots of condos and apartments downtown for you young, single whippersnappers to live.

- quiet/private (not dealing with college kids and riff raff when I'm home)
- clean (not some old POS """"rustic"""" house with tons of """"character"""")
- around $1000/month
- will allow for my home gym set up (power rack, barbell, bench, plates) without issue
When I was at LSU, I lived in Gonzales/Prairieville and commuted in. Living in a small house in a new suburb was awesome, but after 4 years the commute started to wear on me. I may mind commuting but 1-2 hours round trip in the snow is something I'd ideally want to avoid.
Size and proximity to fun things are of minimal importance.
