Got the green light from the wife to build her a southpaw rifle so I put in some orders and finally got all the parts yesterday. I’ll show the parts list then post the pics.

Upper:
Faxon 18” Gunner barrel
Aero Precision gas block
Aero Precision rifle length gas tube
BCM KMR 15” handguard
BCM mod 1 compensator
Stag Left handed upper receiver
Cryptic Bolt carrier (silver)
Meopta 1-6 Optika6 in an Aero Precision mount
Aero Precision ambi charging handle

Lower:
BCM buffer tube and stock
Magpul MOE gen 2 grip
Geissele SSA trigger
CMMG lower parts kit
Troy ambi mag release
Radian ambi safety (only part I’m still waiting on)

Sick. Any reason you went with Keymod and not MLOK? I may know of someone who just came into a BCM mlok upper

My 16” BCM and my Aero AR10 both run keymod handguards so I figured I would keep it all standardized. I got that first BCM back in 2014 when the Mlok hadn’t gained popularity yet.

I’ll keep in mind that you know of someone with extra parts if I’m ever in need. Or it could be another excuse for me to build a rifle around that one part. Don’t want that thing getting lonely...

The rifle is crazy heavy with its heavy profile barrel but it’s my first AR I ever got so I can’t get rid of it. That sling is all function and zero form

Surprised I didn’t find that site. Stag and rock river were the only lefty receivers I found.

Cryptic has been very good to me and they have great service plus a lifetime warranty. But quite Gucci indeed.

With optic included, a little under $2k. Without optic, around $1.5k.

At one time I probably had just about every website that offered anything for lefty AR saved. Then after building 7 or 8 different caliber 15's and 2 10's I've kind of slacked off.

Lol. Been shooting the M16 /AR since 1992 when I joined the Marines. Just have never had a lefty model.
