We all can argue till the end of time but what good will that do? So I want to know, what can we or the police do to help this "Police Brutality"? I don't think it is as BIG as people think but what do you think?

Probably need some sort of check and balance. Though I’m not sure I want the PD to be as inefficient as our government.

Doing what the police ask of you and not resisting arrest is one sure fire way to not have your arse kicked.. AKA... ending police brutality.

That’s where you’re wrong. Police have gotten way out of control. Way to much power with very little oversight. Not that I agree in any way shape or form with this “racist” crap nor do I suggest getting rid of police it’s just stupid. One good idea I’ve seen so far is body cameras that can’t be turned off.

1. Some oversight board, without a conflict of interest, to police the police and make binding decisions subject to judicial review.
2. Eliminate police unions.
3. Reduce qualified immunity.
4. Segment police with the majority trained on community policing with an emphasis on deescalation and community safety. More Barney Fife less Dirty Harry.
5. End the war on drugs.
6. Body cams with video subject to review either by oversight committee or publicly released.
The reality is that too many leo are individuals with low emotional intelligence that are too often on power trips while interacting with the public.
