Lake Charles Area Galvanized Trailer Hub Kit

Blew out the hub on my boat trailer last weekend, and I drove around yesterday evening looking for a kit to replace it, but was shite out of luck. I went to Autozone, O'Reilly's, Lowes, Academy, and Tractor Supply. None of them had galvanized hub kits. A couple of the places had non galvanized hub kits, but I'd prefer galvanized since the existing is galvaninzed, as well as the rest of the trailer.
What business would have this in stock in the Lake Charles area?
I plan to call Henserson's as soon as they open.

Went through this a while back in Lafayette area. Checked with trailer specialty places and all. Ended up ordering some offline myself.

What sucks about doing that is that my boat is sitting at a fiends camp almost two hours away and I have to get it today, so if I can't find the galvanized today, I'll have to replace it with not galvanized just to get it home, then spend more money to get the galvanized later. Was trying to avoid spending twice...

Never seen galv hubs, my McClain didn’t come with them and they’re 5,200# axles. Just buy what you can find and spray with green corrosion x annually or get some grizzly SS hubs.
Call Doug at BowTie and see what he has on the shelf.

You can also spray that galvanized rattle can coating. They use it to touch up galvanized trailers all the time. Hell most galvanized stuff now isn’t even hot dipped anymore.

Don't need a galvanized hub kit.
Get the cheapest hubs paint inside outside every nook and stud with grease, pack with grease, slap em on grease lug nuts and bolts on

Found what I was looking for at Hendersons. This is the one I got, although the link is to the same one at Welst Marine:

Although, it was more expensive at Hendersons

the local tire shops usually have them. The one on Country Club road replaced my hubs.

You talking about Country Club Auto Repair? Good to know in case there are more under lying problems once I get my shite back to LC.

Northern tool!! Changed mine last month. They have plenty of different sizes. Don’t know if that area has one but I would try to find out if I were you

buy the standard one and grease it up! It'll last longer than most galvanizing today which is merely sprayed on zinc. It will last.
If you want galvanized get what you can get, get the boat home and replace when they are available...and keep the other new one as a spare. A spare hub assembly is as important as a spare tire in my experience. They are pretty inexpensive I the overall scheme of things and it sure is nice late Sunday night in the middle of duck season to be able to get the boat home with the spare hub.

I managed to find a galvanized one, but I will be picking up a regular one as well, as a spare. I will not be towing my boat trailer again without one.
