Also, you can use this site ( Hexadecimal Color Codes for HTML )to set your HTML Hex value. LSU's Gold color is FDD023 which in RGB settings is:
Red - 253
Green - 208
Blue - 35
Red - 253

i believe Lowes has the ability to color match anything with that fancy-shmancy laser thing they have. Just bring in a helmet and they can match the purple and the gold.

No need to do that. Just make a square in Paint or some other program, even Word, and make a custom color for it using this formula:
Red - 253
Green - 208
Blue - 35
and it'll be a perfect match for the LSU color. Print and take it with you.
