Phillies..

His agent will reach out to them, they will sign him and Hamels, using the 14M they save from letting Burrell walk away..plus dump Eaton's 8M, Myers 6M, and Moyer's 6M..

34M lands Sheets and give Hamels his raise..

Best 1-2 Righty/Lefty Punch in all of MLB..

It came to me in a vision!

Rangers! We should have plenty of money to lock up a solid starting pitcher and also get Hamilton signed long term.

Would make a nice replacement for Oliver Perez.

Any word on Billy Wagner's MRI on his shoulder?

In that park, I'm not sure Philly will be signing a whole lot of top quality pitching free agents

I predict the Braves throw Andruw's, Glavine's and Hampton's money at Teix and Sheets.

I think they'll make a run at Sheets, but I hope they don't pony up the 20+ mill/year that Tex will get. I dont' think he's worth that.

The Brewers have to keep at least one of Sabathia or Sheets...

I don't see them being able to keep either. No way can they afford 30-35+ mill a year for two players. I

f they can get one of them to agree to a hometown discount then maybe, but the bidding war for those two is gonna be insane, with all the fat cats in the running.

They'll get 4 compensatory draft picks if they let them both leave, plus they'll have some money to go after other FAs or sign extensions on guys they have already.
