No. The beginning of the renaissance of the American black will be the return of the nuclear black family.
Stop subsidizing single motherhood. Stop rewarding it. Start subsidizing low income FAMILIES with a working MAN and a WOMAN. Stop glorifying a destructive lifestyle and culture
I will gladly support a government program literally giving money to families that have a child and at least 1 spouse has full time employment.
No marriage with coresidence, no money check.

I agree with the sentiment. However I think we should make certain provisions. What if the marriage ends in divorce over unreconcilable differences or an abusive situation takes place.
I'm not saying this is the norm. But it is common. There are also cases where the parent simply abandons the family.
I believe we should punish single motherhood provided no other confirmed legal documents show that a marriage license was created and the marriage last at least 4 years.
