I don’t have any problem saying that black lives matter just like all lives matter. I do have a problem with what they stand of and their inability to distance themselves from violence and vandalism.

The fact that the whole organization was founded on a bullshite story of hands up don’t shoot that Obama’s DOJ found was completely false.

Or just look on their website “about us”

quote:

the rampant and deliberate violence inflicted on us by the state.

False

quote:

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

Cisgender privilege? More made up words. Nope. Doesn’t exist.

quote:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

They don’t support the idea of black families? How is that south side village doing right now?

quote:

We foster a queer-affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).
