I’ll disagree here. That’s the best time to practice those putts.

I agree. I came to play the way it was intended to be played.

Blasting any kind of music on the course bothers me. I’m not sure when a Bluetooth speaker became such a must have for golf. I’ll never tell anyone anything because I don’t want to be ‘that guy’, but if you can hear your music outside of your cart, then you’re a problem.

Also multiple carts blasting different music in the same group as well as the guy that leaves his music blaring at the turn while he goes in too get his 4 course meal at the grill.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this--I thought it was just me.

I'm not going to boycott golf over it by any means and I'm definitely not going to tell anyone to stop it, but it does annoy the shite out of me that this has become a "fad".

One of the main reasons I go to the course is for the peace and quiet and baws blasting shitty country music certainly detracts from that.

If you've been waiting on the group in front of you for pretty much the entire front 9, and that group stops by the club house... yeah, damn straight I'll jump in front of em at 10, tee off and they never see us again.

Only do this if the group in front of the slow group has jumped out to a 2 hole buffer.

I usually play in fast twosomes.

I got accused of this. I can hit decently far sometimes. Second shot on a par 5, about 235 uphill a bit. Buddy gave me crap for waiting. I said I didn't wanna hit up anywhere near them because that would be rude. I knew I could get it close probably. Nobobdy wants to be standing/putting on the green and a ball lands anywhere near the green.

The group walks off the green get in their carts. I hit a beautiful 3W to the front edge. Would've been rude to do that with the group still on the green.

I took this to mean someone just showed up and started their round on #10 and he wasn't referring to the group behind them.

Thankfully this has only happened to me once but calling the course to ask if it’s cart path only, being told “no it’s all good today” then driving to the course and finding out it was indeed cpo is probably the maddest I have ever been in a pro shop.

That's completely understandable. I've been guilty of it myself before. I'm talking about the guy that has never hit his 3 wood over 225 thinking today will be the day he gets on the 500+ yard par 5 in two and ends up 75 yards short

Trust me, I've seen this before too. Heck, I may have shanked or topped shots before in the same situation I described in my earlier post as well. Don't wanna talk about it though.

No, I’m not at Beau Chene. It’s just crazy how some players are just so damn lazy or inconsiderate to follow simple rules. I have a green 60 yds from my patio and I’ve seen people drive over the elevated downslope of the back of the green just for fun instead of staying on the cart path that is a few feet away. Between the cart path and the green is about 20 feet of grass and it is obviously a vital chipping area and often stays pretty damp due to lack of drainage. Instead of parking on the path there are a lot of folks that will just pull the cart in the grass area and park 5 ft from the green to save their lazy arse a few steps.

I swear it has caused me to become one of those “get off my lawn” cranky bastards. The ultimate act of disrespect and laziness was when one guy walked to the back of the green and took a piss when he could have walked 20 yds to a tree line for the woods.

I think nearly everyone has been guilty of this before, and there is no worse feeling than waiting for the green to clear and snapping one 50 yards left lol

i definitely agree...........and i know its all age ranges that do it, but i'd say that probably 90-95% of the people that drive up to the green and park in those chipping areas, are older folk. i love getting behind a foursome of oldies playing for cheese, and they see me by myself, knowing damn good and well they are putting out 6" putts, and never offer me to play through.

Ranges that have yardages signs and they are nowhere close to what they really are. One place I used to play frequently had a nice chalk board with today’s yardages because you obviously have to move the hitting area to allow grass to regrow.

Range balls aren’t gonna fly like the ball you’re playing unless it’s a high end course that has pro v’s out there. I get that if they are putting yardages out daily it may be that way. But use a range session before a round to warm up, not dial in distance

That has "un-self-aware a-hole" written all over it. That is wrong on a LOT of levels.

I cant stand how I can rip a slight draw and split the fairway and walk up to my ball and feel the EXACT same feeling and swing and chili dip the shite out of the ball and it goes 10 yards.

That pisses me off.
