Rhythmically it's one of the best IMO.

It’s perfect, not a wasted note.

Is it better than Gilmour's solo in Comfortably Numb?

My top 3 solos are Hotel California, Comfortably Numb and Def Leppard's Photograph.

I like the Hotel California solos, but the duet toward the end is fantastic to me. The way Felder and Walsh bend the notes in harmony is so good.

Another favorite is Pink Floyd’s On the Turning Away.

It's always about fitting the song.

One of my all time favorite solos is the solo in "Easy" by the Commodores.

Technically, it's nothing, but it fits and is so incredibly memorable.

Hell, that's not even Gilmours' best solo.

The solo in "Time" is far better IMO.
