This board is actively cheering US military conflict with criminals right now.

Thank you.
I understand in DC where there was mass violence last night and in some of these areas federal intervention may be necessary.
But it is absolutely not something to be cheered and supported. If anything we should be very scared and nervous right now. And we should be constantly evaluating every move trump makes with great scrutiny. All of us. Regardless of Party should be watching every action by the president right now.
Blindly cheering and giving trump cart Blanche to use the military as he sees fit against “progfilth” and “worthless looters” etc... is extremely dangerous precedent.
Using absolute power is a very dangerous thing and sometimes is goes to peoples heads.

Are you actually trying to make a point?
So you're in favor of mob rule? Doesnt surprise me.

With that specific quote? No I was quoting a Batman movie.
Here’s my point:

I do say, ole chap, if it's not too much of an inconvenience could you keep your thoughts to yourself?

I was a lot more worried when state governments were just letting their cities be torn apart and hanging their police forces out to dry. I don’t think rioters will feel nearly as confident continuing with violence and destruction with the military there and things will die down much more peacefully than the alternative.

So you just watch these worthless POS mayor's and governor's sit back and watch these dumbasses burn and terrorize areas all over the US all in the name of a man killed by police? It would be different if it was a one or two night riot but these fools are still going. Suck it up.

Dude, just stop typing. I'm glad you enjoyed your philosophy class and the Nazi Germany tie-in, but the character of those doing all the criminal acts is, uhhhhh, of questionable nature. For law-abiding citizens, he is doing EXACTLY what we want him to do. I'll eat all of the crow you want if he later declares himself emperor and suspends free elections...you know, like Caesar dissolving the Senate.

That’s literally the philosophy of dictators and authoritarians

A democratic republic with a free populace must face the consequences of its free elections. Sometimes those consequences are unfortunate.

We’ll see. As I have already said, I understand this may be necessary in some areas but it is not something to be celebrated. It should be feared and scrutinized. It should be closely watched. And it should be used sparingly and with great restraint.

Waaa. Why won't trump do anything to stop the riots? He's just hiding and letting everything burn.
Waaa. Why is trump taking action?!

Or what? You’ll hope trump sends the marines to my house to shut me up?

This is what you want him to do so we should not discuss it or it’s merits. This is what you want so shut up and accept it?

Literally huh
Then I guess Thomas Jefferson must have “literally” been a dictator signing the Insurrection Act into law

I remember when I went to an army recruiting station. They sent me to get my psychological profile. I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I want to kill! I want to see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth! Eat dead, burnt bodies! I mean Kill. Kill!"
And I started jumpin' up and down, yellin' "KILL! Kill!"
and he started Jumpin' up and down with me, and we was both jumpin' up and down, yellin' "Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!"
and the sergeant came over, pinned a medal on me, sent me down the hall, said "You're our boy".
That’s a melt.
You may want to take a break from posting.

yeah I am sure if there were protesters outside your door or outside your business getting ready to burn it down you would want those marines there. This isn't about people like you not in the line of fire its about these dumbasses ruining peoples lives that have nothing to do with a guy getting killed in Minnesota.

Nah, like he said, he would just accept that as an unfortunate consequence of electing poor leaders
