CALL, don't email or send them anything on social media. Let them know how you feel about the decision to keep Orleans Parish in Phase 1.

Mayor's office (504) 658-4900

At Large City Council members:

Jason Williams: (504) 658-1070
Helena Moreno: (504) 658-1060

Find your district's council member and call them as well

Good luck but I don't think it will change her mind.

I would like to be armed with some facts on why the Parish should move to Phase 2.

Can anyone provide some specific arguments with actual data?

Yeah, the sad thing is, I think this might have as much chance of encouraging her further, than it would of quelling her in any way.

Literally every metric has dropped steadily for weeks, both statewide and in Orleans Parish which has dropped further, earlier.

Hospital capacity is extremely high.

Have asked for this from the mayor several times. Zero response.

Do you have the specific numbers?

What are the federal guidlines in terms of capacity for reopening?

You will probably do nothing more than make her happy that she has upset you all.

These people don’t rule on what the people want. They rule on what they think is best for you, and they know it. Just ask them.

well #1 the election was 3 democrats so not sure why party matters

#2 I did because she promised to take down the red light cameras, which she then promptly didn't do.

When I called just now I let them know she had lost my 2021 vote.

That is probably the only thing that will affect her.
