I just recently watched this too, and I enjoyed it. Yes, it was odd, but in a good way in my opinion.

I had held off on watching it for a while based on the generally unfavorable reviews of it that I had read.

There was definitely a lot to like about it.

I am a fan of the dry, peculiar dialogue.

I thought that Barry Keoghan was awesome. Nailed his part.

I liked how effective it was that they didn't bother to explain exactly how Martin is afflicting the kids. Obviously the audience is going to wonder, but it was beside the point, didn't really matter.
