im kinda estimating the feet. im gonna measure myself to know the exact distance. but from my recollection it was 3 that i connected together. its weird that the first two strips will present the right color but the third is different. if there wasn't sufficient power wouldn't the third strip just not turn on?
Voltage drop changes the color of the light towards the end of the strip/strand. I use mostly 5V, so its very important to inject power at multiple spots on the strips. 12V can handle a much longer strip before voltage drops, but 75 feet is loooooong. I suggest trying to inject power at the beginning or end of the 3rd strip. That's what I do on the strips around my TVs.

ok so it seems that its just not possible to run that long of a strip without a second power source correct?
