Don't usually upvote gumps but will make an exception for this. Wonder if those houses are haunted with so many men dying in those exact spots

That whole continent is blood soaked going back to the beginning of recorded history.
Someone was always raiding, looting or conquering.
If there are ghosts some of them are probably carrying swords instead of garands.
