It's not dementia. He's been putting his foot in his mouth for years. Remember when he basically forced Obama to come out as pro-gay marriage?

Well that's embarrassing. But do you remember that time he plagiarized a British politician's LIFE in his speeches?
'I am a gaffe machine': a history of Joe Biden's biggest blunders
quote:
At a campaign stop in Missouri in 2008, then vice-presidential nominee Biden exhorted state senator Chuck Graham to stand up for a round of applause. Graham is a paraplegic after a car accident he had at age 16.
“Stand up, Chuck, let them see you,” Biden said.
“Oh, God love ya, what am I talking about,” Biden said. “I tell you what, you’re making everybody else stand up though, pal,” he said. He added: “You can tell I’m new.”
Well that's embarrassing. But do you remember that time he plagiarized a British politician's LIFE in his speeches?
quote:
The 2008 election wasn’t the first time Biden ran for president. After it was revealed that Biden had taken to adopting language used by then British Labour party leader Neil Kinnock – not only turns of phrases but taking parts of his biography as his own on stump speeches – Biden dropped out of the 1988 race.
Clips of the speeches were put together by challengers, damaging Biden’s reputation.
Biden initially called it a “tempest in a teapot” at the time, but after further accusations of plagiarism were reported, stretching back to his days in law school, he stepped down.

quote:Its worse than that, he has been specifically chastised for outright lying about his actions during the civil rights era. In many cases he simply fabricated details of his involvement in protests wherein it was later proven he wasn’t even there. And he continues to do so in his current campaign.
But do you remember that time he plagiarized a British politician's LIFE in his speeches?
Even Shaun King has written extensively about Biden’s obfuscations:
quote:Read it here
On the backs of people who actually paid an enormous price for being activists and organizers in the Civil Rights Movement, Joe Biden created a completely false narrative of his work and contributions to the movement that persists to this very day. Instead of plagiarized speeches, he was plagiarizing details about his actual life. He not only told these lies in previous generations, they have now fully returned to his current stump speeches in churches and venues around the country as if he never acknowledged and apologized for them in the past.
