Jeff Sessions did nothing wrong and had already released any information with any foreign countries he had contact with in his part of the transition team. He had no obligation to recuse himself from his job.

Again, he no substantial interest. Having a meeting with the Russian ambassador is something all administrations do including - We can't talk about this until after the election Barack Obama and Miss reset Hillary Clinton.
He had zero obligation to recuse and chose to. To this day I will never understand why he did it and he can continue lying about it all he wants but it's just that - A BOLD FACE LIE>

It was a counterintelligence investigation. This provision was inapplicable.
