Has anyone ever asked the President why he refused Sessions resignation when Mueller was appointed SC? Sessions literally offered it to him in the Oval Office.
For a guy who claims that Sessions betrayed him, that’s a rather inconvenient fact for him.
This replacement guy may suck but then again Sessions should have known better to run.

Yeah I'm well aware that Trump had absolutely no political capital to hire his own AG and I even made the same case back then.
The issue here is Trump knew that and still tried to bully Sessions anyway into resigning and he ended up firing him in the end after the midterms.
What was the point of that?
