Teams that won Championships because of terrible calls

People celebrate the Lombardi Packers as indomitable...but they won a World Championship in 1965 because of this call...against the Colts.
It did result in "the Baltimore Extension" which raised the goal posts 10 feet because a clearly missed FG was called good.
1965 Divisional Playoff Game
Don Chandler's wide right FG was called good saving the Green Bay Packers in the final seconds. Even the kicker turns away in disgust because he knows he missed it.

Came here to say this.
If there ever was a doubt that a league can decide who wins and loses and that they actually do so this was it.

Virginia's ending vs Auburn.
Similarly, Virginia vs Texas Tech and that out of bounds call.

The tuck rule call was actually the proper call. The rule was called against NE earlier in the year and the rule was off the books the next season. In the moment, though, it wasn't a bad call.
The rule itself was ridiculous... Yes, but the call was correct.

The `85 Royals is the answer but it was OK because the cardinals still had " the best fans in baseball" trophy.

Yeh, the entire SB that year was a fraud. Clearly should have been Chiefs-Saints but the NFL got what they deserved. A turd SB.

Terrible non-call: Steelers getting their second undeserved Super Bowl despite several clear blocks in the back during James Harrison's pick six. Otherwise the Cards win
