That is a contract of a guy who will play increased snaps RB/ WR/TE, the occasional snap at QB, with the opportunity to "compete" for a chance after Brees retires. No one even knows if Brees is retiring.
WRs like Quincy Enunwa, Kenny Stills, Adam Humphries, Randall Cobb, John Ross, and Jamison Crowder all have more that $16+ mil in guarantees. Maybe shift your jaded to perception to that of "he got paid like a WR2/WR3 role player type who can als play all over the formation". There is value in that and it's not a knock. You'll sleep better at night

Gyno and Lester are the Statler and Waldorf of this forum. Heckling with little substance. When someone posts a hundred thousand times it's inevitable they will start believing their own nonsense. Only trolls or the willfully obtuse don't think Payton is leaning towards Hill being the starter of the future.
