Because I know your style, I’m going with no and now I’m going to go grab a snack.
Wait. No because you can’t die of the flu if you don’t have the flu. You can die of covid19 if you don’t have covid19 though. It’s that bad.

Going down the rabbit hole a bit here: does the flu vaccine reduce flu mortality?
There are no scientific studies that even show that it prevents anyone from getting the flu. If you don't believe me, read the disclaimer on the side of the bag of Flulaval (the brand name for the vaccine formulation). It's printed right there on the bag they draw the vaccine from.
When the CDC says the flu vaccine is XYZ effective, that's just an estimate based on some model they've come up with that doesn't even have any scientific studies to filter their data through. Raise your hand if you have much confidence in those models after this debacle.
That's also why—if you can find them; the more politically censored the internet becomes, the harder they are to find—independent analysis of each year's flu season almost always estimates much lower effectiveness than the CDC estimates. Like, when the CDC is saying that the flu shot was 55% effective in any given year, I've seen independent estimates as low as 11-12%. That's lower than the expected placebo effect.
