We were screed. I listened to the game on WWL from my office at the U of South Carolina. .

We did not outplay them. We only crossed midfield twice and managed only 167 total yards. It was the most lopsided 3-0 game ever.

Also lost 24-19 to one of Bobby Bowden's first nationally ranked Florida State teams. This was Charleey Mac's lqast season and Bowden had been offered the LSU job. He said when he realized he could beat LSU in Tiger Stadium he knew he could have great success at FSU and turned LSU down.

That 79 team played three tough teams that won atleast 11 games, bama, usc and fsu
They finished ranked 1, 2 and fourth in final poles

Yeah but I think we only crossed the 50 yard line one time in that game and it was cold and rainy.
