It was not bogus...he grabbed the facemask. It's on YouTube.
The problem is...USC should have been called for a false start.

I try not to let refs differ my opinion on games but that was a horrible call.

it was bogus in that the play should have been called dead with 2 USC lineman moving before the snap, but he did grab the facemask, the video is on youtube...

I was to. When the flag was thrown people around me thought it was one of their offensive lineman stood up before the snap and it would have been LSU's ball. But a facemask out of no where. You couldn't see the QB's head turn but replays showed a hand was placed on the side of the helmet and not grabbed. It was 12-10 then late in the 4th quarter.
