Great acting performance, but a pretty damn depressing movie.

It’s really an incredible film. Definitely my favorite film from 2019, and a top 5 movie for me.
The transition from Arthur Fleck to the The Joker is flawless, and Gotham is transitioning with him. The end where he’s treated as a savior is amazing.
I’ll be interested to see what they do with the story in the second one.
