I hate mental anguish and suffering BS
“Ensminger is seeking damages for, among others, wrongful death, mental anguish, and, on behalf of McCord, bodily injuries and suffering.”

This could be something to help cover funeral costs and such for all we know

I feel for this man, but filing a lawsuit is not the way to go. She willingly got on that plane and it unfortunately went down.

I don’t think that’s BS man. You really wouldn’t have any mental suffering being distraught over losing your young wife whom you envisioned have beautiful children with. If not, you’re probably a psycho and possibly a serial killer.

Feels like this happened 5 years ago. For what it’s worth, if he proves fault/damages in court, he’s right to pursue it.

We all suffer mental anguish and suffering when somebody dies

Completely irrelevant.

I would think that Jr's dad would have had no problem paying for his daughter in law's funeral.

So money will cure it?

The suit claims the owners and operators were "negligent in the selection, operation, maintenance, custody, and control of the plane and that they posed an unreasonable risk of harm to McCord and other passengers."
It continues, "Upon learning that a crash was imminent, though the moment of her untimely death onboard PiperN42CV, Carley McCord Ensminger experienced severe emotional trauma and panic, as well as shock and damage to her nervous system and psyche." McCord suffered from acrophobia, known as the fear of flying, which contributed to the trauma, according to the lawsuit.
I’m not being callous, how do they prove this?

Are you married to everyone that dies? Are they your spouse and a mother to your children?

And if it went down due to someone’s negligence, he deserves damages.

You don’t deserve money for being emotionally upset about a death
Posted on 5/15/20 at 10:32 pm to tigerskin
You can understand his grief and still call this what it is, a frivolous bs lawsuit.

Since some of you, ahem, tigerskin, apparently know the facts that led to the plane crashing, he shouldn’t bother to explore the cause of the crash, whether someone flying or maintaining the aircraft was negligent, or whether there may be legitimate blame to be assigned to someone. You’re right, he shouldn’t even bother, because obviously nothing went wrong.

Money is not a cure but the only way to make the victims whole again. You can’t bring someone back from the grave. If you could then whatever is cost to do that would be the cost born by the person who is at fault.

Yes. The owner of the aircraft lost his wife and only child in the crash.

Every lawsuit in the courthouse is frivolous except your own. A tale as old as time.
