He's 2 years into his career, let's take a step back for a minute. He's been a 2 year starter and very solid player his first 2 years.
I almost remember people being "disappointed" in Skylar Mays too after just 2 years. I know he didnt come with the same recruiting ranking Smart did, but these posts seem eerily similar to people harping on Mays after 2 seasons.
Smart showed notable improvement from freshman to sophomore year, I'd wait before calling him a disappointment.
