but yes, the debt skyrocketing while the economy implodes is beyond devastating and unnecessary.

every scientist that makes a prediction is wrong...

these fools blabbering today have not clue about the fall...

When you're facing economic collapse it is. Why? Because the funds needed to maintain power at that level will collapse also and people will look more locally for leadership.

Multiple reasons.
1. Party bias colors their stance.
2. Their livelihood is based on getting more funding.
3. They've chose that particular cause as the hill they think is worth dying on because they can't see a bigger picture.

Mix and match those as you will but that's the brunt of it.

The GOP controls the Senate and the White House. If it passes then that blame goes both ways.
