Just talked to Pelican and it's $159/mo and the cart plan is waived for the first year ($140/mo). It's a 2 year contract.
I've set up a tour to go talk to them and feel everything out but it seems like the best deal at the moment.

I played on a Friday last year. Walked off 18 and the bar was packed with people. They had a guy playing music. Grabbed a beer and sat on the patio and they had guys coming in and out playing an extra 9 or grabbing a beer after 18. Since you're single, seems like a great place to go and hang.
I'm leaving golf out, just talking atmosphere.
Money no object, UClub is where is join if I was trying to get better. Great facilities and a ton of really good golfers. Course is very hard so your game has to get better.
