I dont understand why its so difficult to just add a photo from your camera phone to this forum, but apologies for my OP. Need help identifying and how to destroy this damn weed. Been looking on the internet for identification, but no luck. Thanks in advance.

Going to have to let it grow to get a definitive answer, but it looks like crabgrass.
