Restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes will be able to be open to the public for indoor table service at 25% of their State Fire Marshal capacity, with continued allowance for additional outdoor seating with SFM guidance on social distancing.

I am shocked

I know this has to be huge for restaurants & staff

Realistically how much longer would it still be comfortable enough to have outdoor dining only in our climate? He really had little choice. It still doesn’t help restaurants that much as I’d figure they need 60-75% occupancy to cover expenses.

For some it's great news and will help. However, I have to wonder if this is worthwhile for restaurants like Commander's, for example. I think it might be too costly to try to operate at only 25%.
