Name one team he played on, that he made others around him better.
I take exception to people dismissing his ball handling skills when the modern game ( since the 80's / 90's) allows carrying/ palming.

LSu wasn't very good before or after he got here.
Well they were downright terrible before.
Hell we didn't even have black players until after Maravich was gone.
