IMO the most likely outcome will be a plea negotiation resulting in plea to lesser grade homicide offense. Prosecution will have its hurdles to be concerned with that will drive them to enter plea negotiations, and the father and son will not be too keen on gambling with the consequences of a felony murder verdict.
Although IMO the prosecution has a sound enough case to run with as currently charged. That's subject to change due to potential new developments that could imperil their case. Of course that's always a factor in every prosecution.

The most likely outcome is that they try to find a corrupt leftist judge and they try to taint the jury as much as possible and both McMichaels are convicted and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and the media gets to say that it proves Whitey just likes to go around killing "innocent black joggers".
