Born Richard Penniman, Little Richard reportedly will be buried 11 a.m. May 20 at Oakwood University’s Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
Little Richard attended Oakwood’s Bible college in the late ’50s. Artists who’ve cited Richard as a primary influence include rock legends Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Rolling Stones.
