I got a picture of the Spring Bayou parking lot last week. My uncle counted 82 boats. So anywhere but there.

you can go to the bayou and bank fish in cottonport. Also others said the docks at spring bayou and old river maybe too busy to fish. you may have to drive a little farther but you can try Indian creek and chicot or the banks of the atchafalaya river or red river.

Indian Creek sometime when on business in Alexandria on the way home I bank fish there.

I can always pickup some bream off the bank this time of year.
