That sounds like one of the dumbest ideas i've heard in a long time.

Mud would go everywhere.
What's the points of "edging" with a pressure washer? After you're done you would need to pressure wash your driveway to get all the mud off of it, not to mention you'd be covered in mud.

It was actually less mess than i was expecting. You just need to be aware of what direction you are clearing of course, but it wasnt that bad.

The edging was just playing around, but it did a really good job esp if you are trying to get some of the dirt away from the sidewalk to make mechanical edging a little easier.

Yea the Tilther is cool, i want to get the depth controller for the BCS tractor I deal with. The concept of using that is al alternative to turning over super deep and only the top inch or so.
Power harrow does something similar too.

Speaking of drill powered tools that salad greens harvester is pretty cool too.

To clarify, the oscillating nozzle doesnt kick up as much debris as you would think and you can move closer or further to control what depth you are scouring.

In my case i used it to create a 2 inch or 3 inches around the garden edging instead and then backed off to blow things or wash as needed. Or just clearing out some weedy areas.
