Raymond is tops are evaluating and developing CB talent. He’s more than earned the benefit of the doubt. He takes 3* and makes him top 2 round draft picks.

Shift happens when you sign two elite corners like Stingley and Ricks. They don’t come to college to sit the bench for two years.

Could see this being true. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a down year in DB recruiting, followed by a strong class the following cycle with Stingley and potentially Flott being off to the NFL after that year

LSU and Bama told kaine to wait so they could evaluate him at a camp. maybe since camps are off LSU decided to push for his commitment, but if not, i think it's going to be the aggies.

Even if it is, that commitment won't hold if we go at him hard before signing day.

when did Little commit? I read that he was leaning towards us, but don't believe he came out and committed

Ga’Quincey McKinstry is a Top DB in this class and LSU is in his Top 2

Auburn, Clemson, and Alabama are his top 3

You're right - I'm reading him as a silent commit - I'll fix my original post.

That 2022 DB class is going to be absolutely filthy.

Flott had an amazing Fr year

I keep hearing this and seeing people post it. I didnt see it. When you say amazing Fr yr I conjure up Mathieu, Delpit, Stingley, Simon, White, Peterson, etc, etc, etc.. Flott is not even in the same zip code as those guys and he is 25 lbs underweight. Ricks has 25 lbs on this guy and he is normal size. Ricks will pass him on the depth chart walking in the door.

I am not saying Flott is bad by any means but I did not see anything to make me see him as the next star DB.

The staff is pretty high on him as a nickel CB.

People are just assuming Ricks walks in and takes over,

Agreed...He’s going to be awesome and the next Star up if Flott or Radar doesn't take it first.

But Freshmen rarely start on Defense at LSU. Many get some rotation experience but it’s difficult to start above the more experienced talent.

Singley is legitimately a decade type of CB and the best we’ve had since P Peterson and it only took one year for him to enter the debate. It’s fascinating that he’s here for two more years.

But I agree also that it feels strange that we aren’t the #1 for a top 1-3 CB. It’s understandable with all of the young talent on the roster but still feels strange.

Flott had an amazing Fr year and after he gains some weight he'll have real first round potential

For a guy that was your fourth CB (third if you exclude nickel back Kary Vincent) and a true freshman, that's scary good numbers
