Growing up in small town Ohio, I dreamt of living in a big city. Although not NY, living in Columbus, Cleveland, and Boston; I have circled back to enjoying small town life.
To OP: the CFR we have interest in relies on positive cases/deaths resulting from Covid-19. However I agree with you that the current CFR is too high, and in the end it will be drastically smaller. The problem is reliability of data. Not sure if we will ever have that.
