I don’t see him wanting less than 10.

He can want in one hand and shite in the other and all that. He’s not getting close to 10. I’m like Les, don’t love the fit, but at the right number, you’d have to take him. Especially over Murray. And I think that number is significantly less than you do.

I think you are underestimating his market. Gordon got 8 per year coming off a bad year. Gordon has also only eclipsed 1000 yards rushing 1 time in 5 years. He was also offered 10 per year by the Chargers but turned it down.

Fournette has eclipsed 1000 yards rushing 2 out of 3 years. He also ran the ball in a worse offense and ran against stacked boxes. He is way more talented than Gordon. If he stays healthy and has another good year then he will get at least 10 per year easily from a rb starved team with money to spend. He is also younger, more talented, more dynamic, and a home run threat. His biggest question will be his health but if he stays healthy this year (a second year in a row) then he will get paid by someone.
Gordon battled a lot of lingering injuries throughout his career as well and still got a good pay day.
