I don't really believe this story.

1. how fricking close is this guy? Come one

2. Burrow never lacked confidence and he never would have said we could lose. He was pointing at his ring finger with a full quarter to go against Clemson.

He still wouldn’t let his boys say we’re gonna beat Alabama when it’s not even halftime. Which if the offense would have let the foot off the pedal at all we would have let them back in the game and maybe win it

He is uber confident but I could definitely see him telling Moss to cool his jets in that situation

He said he was right behind the LSU bench just before halftime and that he is a member of the Alabama band, which would have been on the sidelines. He could have been standing close enough to hear.

I'm as much of a skeptic as anyone but don't really know the motivation for someone to post that if it were purely a fabrication.

If it was anyone else I wouldn’t believe it. But the band would be on the field behind the players benches getting ready for the half time show. So he very well could have been within a yard or two and heard that with ease.

Band member lining up for half time he was probably almost on the bench.

Actually sounds just like Burrow to me. He was all business. I never saw him get rattled either year he was here. The finger point to his ring finger was the only time I saw him push the envelope of premature celebration. I agree he was very confident and even cocky about it later on in the season.

I went to that game and I would attest the story if I saw it but I went to the pisser right after the TD just before the Queen Int and CEH TD so I missed it!

You have clearly never been to any road games. At Florida, if you gets tickets from LSU you sit right behind the bench. So close to the players and field can hear them talking and screaming easily. Grow up and enjoy his story. No need to be a pric!
